The architectural concepts that govern the design of the new Terminal are:
Minimize the impact on the territory through mechanisms of scale fragmentation. Attention to the landscape impact of the equipment, avoiding a monolithic image or a disproportionate scale.
Integration of buildings into the surrounding landscape, adopting measures such as the use of local materials, the color and textures typical of Peruvian culture, as well as avoiding seemingly technological “internationalist” solutions.
Strengthen the relationship with the socio-cultural and natural environment through a local codification of the elements common to their culture. The vegetation, the water and the stone are predominant.
Representative architectural image, which must attend to the whole, in all stages of development.
