The Catalan Regional Minister of Health, Manel Balcells, has visited the construction site of the new headquarters of the Medical Emergency Services (SEM) in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat. The construction of the building, which is located next to the Catalan Institute of Oncology, began in July 2023 and is expected to be completed this summer.
“The SEM is a key infrastructure for the country and now it will have a building with a future and prepared to deal with any critical situation, at the level that an emergency system like the one we have deserves,” he said.
