We are very excited to announce that our project Buenavista Housing has won the award for BEST ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECT IN REAL ESTATE in the ASPRIMA-SIMA 2020 awards, whose awards ceremony took place on November 26, 2020 at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos de Madrid.
b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, together with Impacto Cero, a developer specializing in the construction of totally sustainable buildings, has designed the first building in Madrid to be constructed entirely with a cross-laminated timber structure. The project responds to the typology of a semi-detached closed block, defining a new sustainable multi-family housing building in the historic center of Madrid.
The building is eligible for the first Breeam Excellent seal in Spain for a residential building.
The aim of this project is none other than to generate a calm architecture, without stridency, but ambitious in its construction systems, sustainability objectives and energy logic.
These values, together with those of integration into the urban landscape, constructive rigor and adjustment in execution deadlines result in a project that aims to be a responsible exercise in building while a reference of sustainable architecture.
