Located between El Prat airport and Barcelona, the Porta Fira Towers take advantage of their strategic position as the tallest towers of the new Plaza Europa and act not only as a gateway to the new L’Hospitalet de Llobregat exhibition center but also as a gateway to Barcelona.

The project consists of two 110-meter-high towers – a hotel and an office building -in a subtle dialogue with each other. Formally differentiated and with a strong symbolic charge, the complex seeks a complementary relationship with the use of a similar vocabulary. In a way, the Porta Fira Towers pay homage to the historic Venetian towers that give way to the fairgrounds in Barcelona’s Plaza España.
