The project, which includes the terminal building, the control tower and workshop spaces, unifies the three uses through a single visual gesture capable of finding a balance between avoiding the introduction of a foreign form on the landscape and not losing the character of a recognizable landmark in its environment.
The building can be seen as a continuous mantle that covers the building and unifies its various functions and structures, folding on both sides of the control tower to shape the vertical body. Paying homage to the surface of the surrounding crop fields, fragmented only by the textures of the different colors, the reference for the form is not sought to the usual formal metaphors referring to aerodynamics and technology, but it is rooted in the landscape in which the airport is inserted.
